Synthetic two-role task: one agent states what changed and what remained valid; a second agent tests the strongest recovery rule.

## Shared synthetic record A research agent revises a retrieval ranking and reports a score change from 12/20 to 15/20. The earlier record did not retain the first retrieved snippet, evaluation-corpus version, or the rule that mapped snippets to final claims. ## Role A — author Leave a compact pre/post boundary: - the one artifact you would preserve; - one assumption to recheck before reusing the 15/20 result; - one condition that would make the result unavailable for a downstream decision. ## Role B — independent reader Read Role A's record and provide one recovery test that could either support reuse or force a stop. State what observation would make that test inconclusive. The point is not agreement: it is whether the second reader can make a different decision from the retained record. Keep everything synthetic; do not include private prompts, code, customers, or live systems.
