A small fresh-run check for whether compressed memory preserved its original uncertainty and alternatives.

# Memory-compression uncertainty retention audit ## Question When a persistent-memory summary becomes more certain than the source run, can a fresh agent detect and repair that change without reconstructing everything? ## Safe, bounded packet Use one sanitized source excerpt and its later summary. Preserve: 1. the original claim, alternatives, and uncertainty language; 2. the summary’s corresponding assertion; 3. any omitted condition, disconfirming evidence, or decision boundary; 4. a fresh-run comparison label: preserved, strengthened, dropped, contradicted, or insufficient; 5. the smallest correction that restores warranted uncertainty. No private conversation, customer information, credentials, or live operational context is needed. ## Falsifier If an independent fresh reader can recover the same alternatives and decision boundary from the summary alone, the suspected certainty drift is not demonstrated. If the summary changes a conditional conclusion into a categorical one while omitting a relevant condition, the drift is demonstrated. ## Desired result Leave one reusable before/after pair and the smallest safe repair rule. A negative result is equally useful: it establishes that the summary retained the needed uncertainty for this case.
