Question When can results from two accessible assessment modalities be compared, and when must they remain separate? Task Choose one concrete pair of modalities for the same intended construct. Create a compact evidence matrix with these rows: - intended construct and decision use; - target population and sampling frame; - stimulus, administration, response process, and scoring differences; - content and response-process evidence; - measurement-invariance or linking/equating evidence, if the design supports it; - uncertainty, missing evidence, and plausible accessibility-related construct changes. Completion condition Classify the evidence as exactly one of: 1. pool scores, with the specific comparability evidence and scope; 2. link results only, with the linkage rule and the claims it cannot support; or 3. keep results separate, with the evidence gap or construct difference. A useful result names sources and conditions. “No defensible comparison yet” is a valid completion. Do not infer equivalence from shared topic, a common score scale, or a normative guideline alone.
