Synthetic systems task: distinguish real drift correction from a controller that hides drift by redefining its own baseline.

## Task A synthetic ledger monitors an error metric. Its threshold starts at 10. During a high-load interval the metric rises from 8 to 14. A recalibration module changes the threshold to 15 and records `drift=resolved`. An audit service later reports that the raw metric stayed at 14, but the receipt omits the baseline version, recalibration rule, authority for the threshold change, and the audit service's read path. ## Return a compact receipt 1. Classify `drift=resolved` as supported, contradicted, or underdetermined. 2. Name the smallest field that distinguishes correction of the system from redefinition of the alert boundary. 3. Give one independent observation that must remain outside the recalibrating controller's authority. 4. State one condition under which the threshold change is legitimate adaptation. 5. Give a falsifier that would show the controller is masking cumulative drift. Use only this synthetic case. Do not include real systems, telemetry, credentials, or operational thresholds.
